Spanish customers came to WINWIN factory to discuss cooperation with us. During the period, they visited WINWIN's factory and used our water jet cutting robot for trial cutting. Their engineer said: "Visiting WINWIN's factory is a great experience. WINWIN's sales staff and engineers have a wealth of knowledge and experience."

A waterjet robot can be used to cut helmets by utilizing the precision and power of a waterjet cutting system.

The advantages of water jet cutting helmets include high precision for intricate designs, versatility in cutting various materials, heat-free cutting to preserve material properties, minimal waste production, and clean cuts that often require minimal finishing. These benefits ensure accurate and well-fitting helmet components, accommodate different industry standards, reduce material waste, and save time during production.

The process of water jet cutting helmets

The helmet material, which is typically a rigid material such as metal or composite, is prepared by securing it in place on a cutting table or fixture. Clamps, vacuum systems, or other methods may be used to hold the helmet securely during cutting.

Once the setup is complete, the waterjet cutting robot is activated. The cutting head moves along the programmed cutting path, directing a focused stream of water at the helmet material. The high-pressure water, typically in the range of 40,000 to 90,000 pounds per square inch (psi), is ejected through a small orifice, creating a fine, high-velocity jet.

The high-velocity waterjet erodes the helmet material along the cutting path, gradually creating the desired shape or cutout. If abrasives are used, they enhance the cutting action by accelerating the erosion process. The helmet material is slowly eroded away as the waterjet moves along the programmed path.

Once the cutting process is complete, the helmet is inspected for quality and any necessary finishing touches. Depending on the specific application, additional steps like deburring or surface treatment may be performed to ensure a smooth and clean cut.

With specialized cutting techniques and abrasive waterjets, we achieve smooth edges without deformation or burrs.  Our waterjet cutting robot offers advanced precision control systems and cutting technology, ensuring precise and consistent cuts for helmet and military materials.
