What is a CNC Sawjet?
A CNC Sawjet is an advanced hybrid stone-cutting machine that integrates two distinct cutting technologies into a single computer-controlled system: a high-speed diamond-tipped saw blade and an ultra-high-pressure waterjet. The saw blade handles fast, efficient straight-line cutting, large-radius arcs, bevels, and miter cuts. The waterjet takes over for complex geometries that a circular saw cannot execute cleanly—tight internal corners, intricate curves, sink cutouts, small holes, lettering, logos, and delicate inlay patterns. The machine automatically switches between the two cutting heads based on the toolpath programmed in its CAD/CAM software. This synergy gives the Sawjet a decisive edge: it delivers the speed of a bridge saw for rough material removal and the precision of a waterjet for finishing details, all in one automated footprint.

Today, CNC Sawjets are a cornerstone of high-production stone fabrication.
